A set of three teak dining chairs by the British mid-century designer John Herbert for the manufacturer A. Younger. Herbert was a devotee of Danish design. A Younger produced smaller batches of high-end furniture in Britain throughout the 1950s and 1960s, focusing on quality over quantity. The clean lines and rounded curves of these chairs meant they will blend seamlessly into both mid-century modern and contemporary interiors.
They are in excellent vintage condition with wear and tear consistent with age, as you can see in the photos. I have lightly stripped, oiled, and waxed them for sale.
