A prolific 20th century British painter, Dealtry produced expressive oil landscapes of the British countryside and sea in a plein-air style. Focusing in particular on the North Yorkshire coast Dealtry's paintings are defined by a spontaneity and emotional atmosphere, often capturing fading views of traditional Yorkshire life.
It is in very good condition in its original frame, although there is some wear to the frame itself. It is signed on the reverse.
